BL2 Table Lamp by Robert Dudley Best for Bestlite at Karkula
A lamp way ahead of its time, Robert Dudley Best designed this light in 1930. Because it was one of the first examples of Bauhaus in the UK, it took some time before it was put into production by his family's manufacturing company, Best & Lloyd. The lamp received some press from a prominent architectural publication and gained widespread notice when Winston Churchill used it as his desk lamp at Whitehall.
